I had relaxing stay, the place is quirky!

I greatly enjoyed the place, it was clean & the staff were exceptionally kind. They offered cookies and scones for breakfast. Its location was very central, next door to a natural history museum. Good service was provided here...

Great breakfast and wine and cheese evening reception. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our original room was way to tiny and had too many "ancestral" photos. Staff moved us to a corner room with bay window, much nicer.

Wished we had a tv. Only drawback was windows hard to open, and it was seagull mating season (no one's fault), very loud.

We had a surprise fee of 10% tax and surcharges of almost $40.00! that stated excluded or not applicable on our reservation that was charged us. Our room was small and tight hard to walk around the bed.

The hotel in itself is really charming and well maintained. Beautiful Victorian House. Rooms are very clean, well equipped. The staff is very nice, efficient and professional. (On sunday morning of the Memorial Day week-end, the dining room in the morning was "packed" and the ladies helped everybody, in no time, everyone was taken care of as if we were the only customer, they made sure everybody had everything they wanted, and their smile was a real "gift". When we arrived on friday night, they welcomed us with a glass of wine (excellent cabernet), cheese and crackers, they gave us useful advices to find a restaurant and even proposed to book for us...Sorry, my english is not good enough (my mother tongue is french), but I want to say that it had been a very long time since we had been taken care of this way. What a treat !!! Two thumbs up ! We will definitely come back and have already recommanded the Centrella Inn to friends. Thank you for this wonderful week- end...Oh, and your garden is just magic !

The staff were friendly, the room was neat and clean. The location is ideal being next to the main street and close to the beach. The building has a sweetly quaint Victorian bed and breakfast feel to it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was nice, but my friend's pullout bed was uncomfortable due to a small sheet.

The outstanding event at Centrella Inn was the breakfast----a lot of choice and beautifully cooked and presented---probably the best we had in 6 weeks of travel. The Inn was charming and well situated. Evening drinks and nibbles provided was also a very welcome touch.

quiet little and gorgeous accommodation with unbeatable setting not far from stores and beach and monterey bay aquarium.

Very nice ambient. We loved the place (we changed to cottage). Pacific Groove is great.

Big welcome from Honey, very homely with some excellent touches (glass of wine on arrival, home made cookies available during the day). Good breakfast with cooked options. Located in a wonderful town with excellent walking/cycling.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement

I loved the quaint charm and the friendly staff. Exploring the nearby shops and restaurants was a delight! Just a tip, double-check your reservation details to avoid check-in confusion. The room could use some updating, but the atmosphere is lovely.

The homemade cookies at bedtime were the best cookies I have eaten in a long time. The breakfast was the best breakfast I had my whole holiday. Home made scones, fresh orange juice, not concentrated! And much more. Very friendly staff and helpful.

A fridge would be useful, with Tea and Coffee making facilities.

It was all great. The staff was especially nice and knowledgable.

No trash can in the garden area.

A wonderfully charming hotel with a cozy atmosphere, with good antiquities that add to its character. The spacious bathroom boasted gorgeous tiles. Breakfast included a delicious yogurt parfait, and I particularly enjoyed the complimentary cookies and tea available around the clock. The old-fashioned shower head and lower water pressure were minor drawbacks, and the creaky floorboards might be a consideration for light sleepers.

Booked a room with a huge bathroom. It had very central location close to Lover's Point Beach.
